Productinfo Hardware specs

Key features:

Portability:
Small footprint (< 600 gram) and low power consumption. The instrument can be operated via the USB port from a pc, without additional power supply. In combination with a laptop-computer, the Ivium CompactStat provides a truly mobile electrochemical measurement station for corrosion and analytical applications.

Low noise and galvanic isolation:
The instrument is electrically isolated from power lines and PC. It has a superior noise immunity, and is capable of determining very small signals, such as is required in nano-technology applications. Also, the instrument may be applied in situations where the sample must be disconnected from a common ground (floating).
Complete solution:
The CompactStat offers a complete package. The hardware includes a build-in high-performance Frequency Response Analyser, and all the standard Electrochemical techniques. All measurement and dataprocessing software is included, for Windows based PC’s.

Automation:
Multiple analog and digital input & output ports are available, that can monitor & control peripheral equipment. The included software integrates this functionality.
Multiple Channel option:
Up to 64 CompactStats may be controlled with a single PC via USB.
Expandibility:
optional Bipotentiostat-, True Linear Scan- and Coulometer-modules are available.

Standard CompactStat case.

- Potential and current recorded simultaneously up to 500 pnts/sec
- Traces up to 2E9 pnts may be recorded

Power Booster:

The power of the CompactStat can be greatly increased by adding the Plus-module. The Plus-module connects in front of the CompactStat in-line with the cell cable. However, the power required and delivered by the Plus-module cannot be sustained from the USB anymore. Therefor a mains-adapter is needed.

The Plus-module is available in two configurations, increasing the power specifications of the CompactStatPlus to:
● ±250 mA @ ±20 V
or
● ±800 mA @ ±8 V/±500 mA @ ±10 V
